Description
The MMR Performance Low Oil Temperature Thermostat is an affordable and effective upgrade designed to help control and maintain ideal oil temperatures on BMW N54 and N55 engines. Under high load or when power is increased, standard oil thermostats can allow temperatures to rise above optimal levels, reducing lubrication efficiency and potentially accelerating wear. Installing this low-temp thermostat helps keep oil temperatures between approximately 90 °C and 110 °C for improved engine longevity and performance — especially in track-driven or high-power applications.
This upgrade is machined from high-grade aluminium and anodised for durability, and is a simple direct fit into the original oil thermostat housing without requiring complex modifications.

| Content | The MMR Performance Low Oil Temperature Thermostat is an affordable and effective upgrade designed to help control and maintain ideal oil temperatures on BMW N54 and N55 engines. Under high load or when power is increased, standard oil thermostats can allow temperatures to rise above optimal levels, reducing lubrication efficiency and potentially accelerating wear. Installing this low-temp thermostat helps keep oil temperatures between approximately 90 °C and 110 °C for improved engine longevity and performance — especially in track-driven or high-power applications. | Boost Cooler water injection can achieve a power increase of up to 10-25% in turbo and supercharged engines without thermally overloading the engine. The charge air temperature is lowered by up to 60°C, the combustion chamber is cooled and the thermal load on already tuned vehicles is effectively reduced.
Water or water/alcohol (methanol or ethanol) is injected at high pressure into the hot charge air in a finely atomised form as soon as the desired starting charge pressure is reached. The evaporating liquid achieves an extremely effective charge air and intercooling, which, among other things, prevents uncontrolled combustion ("knocking"). The effect is demonstrably comparable with 116 octane racing petrol.
The Boost Cooler is unsurpassed in atomisation! The liquid is swirled inside the Hyper-Sonic atomiser nozzle at supersonic speed before being forced through the Venturi orifice. With the included Dual Stage Upgrade, 2 atomiser nozzles are used to inject as early as possible with the primary nozzle and to achieve maximum cooling and performance in peak loads with the switched-on 2nd nozzle.

| CTS Turbo is pleased to release our high flow turbo outlet pipe kit for GTI/Golf R/Golf/GLI/A3/S3/TT 2015+ MQB Models. The factory turbo outlet pipe is constructed from flimsy plastic and is quite narrow, which results in an extreme airflow restriction. The CTS Turbo high flow turbo outlet pipe kit is constructed from mandrel bent 2.5″ aluminum tubing. The CTS Turbo high flow turbo outlet pipe kit also replaces all the factory charge piping between the turbocharge compressor housing and factory intercooler.

The factory intercooler on the MQB-platform cars has proved to be unable to cope with the demands of higher power, hard driven cars, showing up as serious power losses during hard driving as air temperatures soar.
- Our massive 'plate & bar' Intercooler System is the best performing intercooler upgrade on offer for the MQB-platform Golf 7 GTI, R and Audi S3.
- By consistently reducing intake air temperatures (IAT), heat soak is minimised delivering increased performance again and again. No need for the recovery cool-down times needed for the production intercooler.
- Our development focussed on finding the ‘sweet spot’ of maximum IAT cooling versus minimum pressure loss. This has allowed us to achieve increased size without increased lag.
