This uprated intercooler has been designed for the BMW vehicles with the N55 3.0 single turbo engine and N54 twin turbo engine, we have again managed to retain a very easy installation (taking less than 45 minutes with no need to remove the bumper), but also NO cutting of any bodywork. With our testing results indicating a temperature drop of 25°C and of course the increase in power that you would expect from a much larger cooler charge, plus the ability to install this on your driveway at home, we have a truly excellent product.

After considerable trials with different intercoolers cores, we have again opted for a core of bar and plate design, and along with an overall increase in dimensions we have been able to drastically improve the cooling ability when compared to the factory intercooler. In the construction, we use CNC machined bayonet couplers which allow an easy plug and play install. The intercooler is supplied with easy to follow instructions.

Our before and after Dyno runs clearly show, not only the power increase, but the significant reduction in intake temperature.

Essential for fitting the RacingLine Oil Management kit on Golf 7R and Audi S3+

WHY FIT?

To fit our Oil Management Kit on Golf 7R and Audi S3 models, you will also need this Remote Washer Refill Kit.

Golf 7R and some early Audi S3 models have a different windscreen washer bottle fitment to the other MQB cars, with the reservoir located on the right of the vehicle compared to the majority of MQB models which have the washer bottle on the left.

For these cars with right-hand reservoirs, this is located where the Catch Can will be mounted. The kit replaces the top half of the factory washer bottle to still allow you to refill your washer fluid easily and neatly.

Included is a beautifully high-gloss filler cap which locates conveniently on the front panel using the bracket provided

Many owners prefer the appearance of our Remote Washer Refill and of course this can be fitted without having the RacingLine Oil Management kit installed.

Our solution to increasing the intercooler’s size and performance within the confines of the limited space behind the bumper is based upon a much larger taller stepped core design. This offers a huge 108% increase in overall capacity in comparison to the original intercooler, as well as colossal 125% increase in frontal area over standard, which allows it to make the most of the air flow provided. Together with our high-flow, moulded one-piece cast end tanks to ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume over standard and by integrating the crash bar into the design, the intercooler makes full use of the vehicle’s entire front grille area while still retaining the towing eye feature. The High-Performance All-Aluminum Auxiliary Radiators work in conjunction with the rest of the cooling system to reduce temperatures throughout. This is critical as the Auxiliary Radiators not only help keep engine water temperatures lower, but also are utilized as the heat exchange medium in the air-to-water charge-air coolers for the turbocharger system to reduce intake air temperatures (IATs). Overall, the Auxiliary Radiators larger capacity prolongs the heat soak threshold and assists in keeping temperatures in optimal ranges.

The Racingline Performance Oil Catch Tank & Oil Management System is the ultimate oil separating catch can system for MQB EA888 Gen3 2.0T engine cars.

Not all catch cans are created equal. The Racingline Performance system has a dual function: as well as routing undesirable oil and moisture vapours through a sophisticated system of internal baffles and a fully baffled catch can, the Racingline Performance Oil Catch Can System also takes our track & motorsport experience of these engines to correct the problem of oil build-up in the top of the engine during high-G braking. The kit includes our Engine Breather Plate – just as the Golf and SEAT TCR EA888 touring cars use to avoid the oil surge issue. So not only does the Racingline Peformance Oil Management System condense these vapours into the bottom of the tank, keeping a purer air/fuel mixture and avoiding the problem of slowly filling intercooler and intake pipework with oil. The Engine Breather Plate included in the kit also protects your engine by helping to eradicate oil starvation in very high G braking – an issue when used on track, leading to several engine failures in Racingline Performance UK’s testing experience.
