The venerable S58 found in the G8X M3 and M4 follows BMW’s tried and true formula of six cylinders in a row sending power to the back wheels for maximum tire-torturing fun. From the factory, the S58 cranks out up to 503 horsepower and 479 lb.-ft. of torque, but the two turbos tucked next to the engine whisper a tale of limitless possibilities with every shove of the throttle. If you can’t hear them, it might be time to let them whisper a little louder with this performance charge pipe from Mishimoto.
The stock M3/M4 charge pipe has the crucial job of transporting boost from both turbos to the intake manifold and intercooler so it can be turned into power by the engine. Looking at the stock charge pipe, however, you might not think BMW thought this was particularly important. Two rubber hoses carry that precious boost out of the turbos and into an (ugly) plastic merge before it enters the intercooler. Some owners are already seeing cracks and failures of this plastic merge on M3s and M4s pushing more boost. Luckily, Mishimoto has a solution.
The Mishimoto G8X M3/M4 performance charge pipe replaces the stock rubber and plastic with robust silicone and cast aluminum for a charge pipe that’s stronger and 27% less restrictive than stock. Our charge pipe retains the flexibility of the stock front section but replaces the stock rubber hoses with durable silicone for greater heat and pressure tolerance. The plastic merge has been replaced with cast aluminum for a significant durability upgrade, while the transitions have been smoothed to allow improved flow to support future performance upgrades.

| TTE IS38Race IHI Turbocharger
Many of our customers have been asking for a motorsport IS38 turbocharger, Well here it is!
TTE IS38Race Turbocharger is based on the Original Genuine IHI IS38 turbocharger for the EA888.3 2.0TSI VAG Engine, not a cheap aftermarket clone IS38 turbo that are available from others and not disclosed.
A TTE IS38Race has a TTE upgrade performance bearing pack and motorsport balanced TTE core using the IHI Bearing housing and IHI IS38 turbine and Genuine IHI IS38 compressor wheel giving a reliable performance at higher boost levels as used on Stage 1 & 2 software calibrations from all software providers. We also include our TTE CNC silencer delete, removing the original baffle internals and fitting a new billet straight through section to improve the flow and enhance the sound.
This is a direct swap from a standard IS38 so no remap or special calibration required vs standard is38 software.
Precisely balancing the IS38Race turbocharger is a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Subsequent great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving our balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts balance machine, then components are assembled and then the CHRA is dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. A balance report document is supplied with your TTE IS38Race for your reassurance.

To make a TTE700 the compressor wheel is exchanged for a TTE milled aluminum wheel with state-of-the-art geometry, 7+7 blade, and of a much larger size, so producing extra power. Equally, we change the original exhaust turbine for a far larger but very lightweight 9 blade TTE designed the turbine for lower exhaust gas backpressure giving greater performance. Please note if you send an older generation turbo, without the original AUDI thermal shielding for the "upgrade" process, we will rework your turbo and return without the shielding, unless you buy the extra thermal Isolation process. Depending on stock availability we may substitute TTE thermal shielding and give AUDI original thermal shielding instead. Equilibrium Precisely balancing our turbochargers is a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics also. Subsequent great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving our balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine, then components are assembled and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. The CTS Turbo Muffler delete is a one-piece design, made using precision CAD tools and is CNC machining in house. Cast from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum.
Our Turbo Muffler delete replaces the restrictive, power robbing OEM Turbo Muffler, which is designed to reduce turbocharger harmonic noise.
Our kit installs in 30 minutes with standard hand tools and fits perfectly.

We designed our inlet to work with our intake system and it is compatible with the OEM intake system. Our inlet will provide more sound and flow compared to stock. This will improve throttle response, more power and reliability.
