WHAT THE TURBO MUFFLER DELETE DOES?

Our Tapered Turbo Muffler Delete for 2.0 TSI EA888.4 245ps is a sleek single billet design combined with larger diameter silicone joiner hose which replaces the restrictive, power-robbing compressor outlet with a smooth, turbulence free air path exiting the turbo.

  • The standard part is located on the outlet of the turbo compressor to reduce engine bay acoustics, but adds in disruptive turbulence to the airflow right where you don’t want it. 
  • The OEM part is a 38mm inner diameter throughout, whilst the RacingLine tapered design enlarges up to 53mm, joining perfectly with the smooth 53mm, internally-stepped silicone hose.
  • By replacing the standard part with the tapered Turbo Muffler Delete and Silicone Hose, you’ll replace this unwanted restriction with a smooth CFD-developed uninterrupted air path. 
  • The result: noticeably better boost response giving a little more power and throttle reaction, all the while being able to actually hear your turbo working.

TTE IS38Race IHI Turbocharger   Many of our customers have been asking for a motorsport IS38 turbocharger, Well here it is! TTE IS38Race Turbocharger is based on the Original Genuine IHI IS38 turbocharger for the EA888.3 2.0TSI VAG Engine, not a cheap aftermarket clone IS38 turbo that are available from others and not disclosed. A TTE IS38Race has a TTE upgrade performance bearing pack and motorsport balanced TTE core using the IHI Bearing housing and IHI IS38 turbine and Genuine IHI IS38 compressor wheel giving a reliable performance at higher boost levels as used on Stage 1 & 2 software calibrations from all software providers.  We also include our TTE CNC silencer delete, removing the original baffle internals and fitting a new billet straight through section to improve the flow and enhance the sound. This is a direct swap from a standard IS38 so no remap or special calibration required vs standard is38 software.   Precisely balancing the IS38Race turbocharger is a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Subsequent great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving our balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts balance machine, then components are assembled and then the CHRA is dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. CTS Turbo is proud to offer our upgraded turbo inlet hose for the MK7+ VW and 8V Audi MQB vehicles.  The factory turbo inlet hose is corrugated with internal ridges that disrupt air flow.  Not only do they reduce air flow, but the plastic can become weak over time causing leaks and reduced performance. The CTS Turbo turbo inlet hose is constructed from 5-ply silicone that will not collapse, even under heavy load. This is MUCH stronger than other inlet hoses offered by different companies. Collapsing intake hose can cause turbo to fail!! The CTS Turbo inlet hose allows for smooth uninterrupted flow and more air pumping through your engine! Features:

AUDI TTRS 8J / RS3 8P, 8V.1 / RS Q3 CZGB / CEPA / CEPB 2.5TFSI TTE700 UPGRADE TURBOCHARGER 

Introducing our TTE700 performance turbocharger based on the original EA855 DAZA turbocharger to new higher output specification for fitment to the older generation cars. Offering an upgrade to over 600PS on pump petrol.

Engineered & Enhanced

At the core of our TTE700 is a much larger TTE compressor wheel, chosen because it is highly efficient and creates an extremely high flow for comparative size. Re-Profiled compressor cover to optimised tolerance to ensure maximum compressor efficiency is given.

We CNC mill the exhaust turbine housing to accept a larger turbine and shaft. Special profile 360 deg high-performance motorsport journal bearing is fitted, to remain durable at higher loads with no loss in transient response. The actuator used is sprung OE unit

If ordering new, we use the latest generation of BorgWarner original turbochargers with the latest spec Audi thermal heat isolation shielding on the exhaust manifold & turbine housing to lower engine bay temperatures and ensure the best performance and safety.

Please note if you send an older generation turbo, without the original AUDI thermal shielding for the "upgrade" process, we will rework your turbo and return without the shielding, unless you buy the extra thermal Isolation process.  Depending on stock availability we may substitute TTE thermal shielding and give AUDI original thermal shielding instead. 

We cannot upgrade the ORIGINAL K16 CEPA, CEPB OR CZGB Turbo to this stage, Biggest possible for the K16 is the TTE500+ Upgrade Turbocharger

CTS Turbo is excited to announce the release of the B9 Audi SQ5 3.0T TFSI charge pipe upgrade kit. Factory pipe that connects the intercooler to the throttle body is made of brittle plastic. It’s wise to replace it with an all-aluminum high flowing CTS Turbo charge pipe. Our 2.5″ charge pipe kit will increase flow and improve the reliability of your B9 Audi SQ5. You’ll notice an increase in throttle response and a decrease in turbo lag. Two water/methanol bung provide an easy way to install injection nozzle. Product Details
