Description

Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, this Big Boost Pipe Kit for the EA888 Gen 4 platform is designed as a complete upgrade to the factory boost pipework to increase airflow, improve response and support higher boost levels for fast road or track use. The comprehensive 8-piece kit includes three lightweight aluminium hard pipes for improved strength under high boost pressure, along with five high-quality Pro Hoses silicone joiners to ensure reliable and straightforward installation.

On the cold side from the intercooler to the throttle body, the original pipework starts at 60 mm and tapers smaller, while AIRTEC’s upgraded pipe maintains a 70 mm internal diameter throughout, significantly increasing flow and capacity. On the hot side from the turbo to the intercooler, the kit upgrades the pipe diameter to 63 mm, removes the restrictive factory resonator and improves airflow, response and efficiency.

This direct-fit kit requires no drilling or cutting and includes all fixtures, fittings and detailed instructions. It is designed to work only with the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler upgrade, making it an ideal solution for modified Mk8 Golf R and EA888 Gen 4 vehicles requiring improved boost pipe efficiency and performance.
