The OEM air box works in conjunction with our heatshield for seamless fitment and performance. Our 5″ high-flow cone air filter with 3″ inlet will maximize airflow for better throttle response and power. You will notice a great improvement in bottom-end torque and mid-range power. Gains of 9-15hp can be seen and further gains with Stage 1 or Stage 2 tuning. We slotted the heat shield to provide some nice turbo sounds to be enjoyed in Sport mode for maximum effect.

This is the first intake for the Gen 2 B58 that follows a clean OEM+ look and materials but has the intoxicating sound and performance of an open intake. Inside, you'll find our proprietary renewable inverted cone performance filter; outside, you'll find unsurpassed OEM fitment, materials, and quality. The BMS competition intake has a clear window on top for quick filter inspection, uses the OEM cold air inlet, and has a huge inlet hole on the cold side of the airbox for more air and even more fantastic sound! The factory heat shield is reused to keep those intake temps as low as the factory intended. The rubber accordion hose and factory resonator are replaced with a smooth pipe to deliver less turbulent air to the turbo.
