CTS Turbo is proud to announce a catless downpipe for F-series BWM 4 cylinder N20 engines.

By removing the factory catalytic converter, you will free up exhaust flow and thus increase power and sound of the engine. Faster turbo spool and less backpressure means the car will feel more responsive and more fun to drive.

Proper tuning by Bootmod3 must be used to remove CEL and ensure proper operation.

  • CNC machined flange and direct-fit bracket
  • Fully TIG welded stainless steel construction
  • 25-35HP increase in power with stage 2 tune (octane dependent)
  • Aggressive sound

This part is for off-road race use only! Not for N26 engines. Check the sticker under the hood; you have N20 engine it will say ULEV.  If it is an N26 engine, it will say SULEV.

CTS Turbo Performance Mid-Pipes for 8V/8Y Audi RS3 and 8S Audi TTRS. Most Euro-spec ROW 2.5T cars come standard with catless midpipes, this is why we decided to create a perfect-fit affordable option to North America! These pipes replace the restrictive secondary catalytic converters allowing the 2.5T engine to breathe easier.  While not offering major performance gains, the exhaust note will be drastically improved. Installation takes less than 1 hour, and we include all required hardware, gaskets and even a set of brand new clamps. Get your exhaust sounding like it should, with more noticeable pops-and-bangs in Sport mode (comfort mode is not affected). Product Details:

The CTS Turbo C8 Audi RS6/RS7 Race Downpipe were designed to seamlessly fit in place of your restrictive stock catalytic converters, which is situated immediately after the turbocharger. Designed using the latest in CAD technology; this part is made to fit perfectly in place of your factory downpipes. Manufactured from T304 stainless steel, hand TIG welded and back purged to ensure years of reliable performance. Substantial power gains, improved exhaust flow and a more throaty sound are the main benefits of installing our downpipe. Product Details:

Stage 2 tuning software is required to avoid check engine light. Installation notes for vehicles without OPF/GPF:
  • Transfer factory O2 sensors and tighten to 30 ft/lbs
  • Install supplied OPF/GPF plugs and tighten to 25 ft/lbs
  • Tighten downpipe nuts and bolts to 16 ft/lbs
Installation notes for ROW vehicles with OPF/GPF:
  • Remove the factory pressure sensors and lines from factory cats
  • Connect both ports of the pressure sensor together with the longer factory rubber hose and clamps. Re-install sensors and clip in the harness.
  • Install OPF/GFP temperature probes and tighten to 25 ft/lbs
  • Transfer factory O2 sensors and tighten to 30 ft/lbs
  • Tighten downpipe nuts and bolts to 16 ft/lbs

All of the knowledge and experience gained while working with various engines from the sports car manufacturer from Stuttgart was poured into this outstanding aftermarket exhaust system. Produced from lightweight titanium, the system uses complex parts meticulously crafted using the in-house titanium foundry to offer perfect acoustics. An instant deepness prevails from the moment the engine is started and as the revs rise, and so does the sensory involvement. At low rpms the exhaust emits a deep, iconic flat-six rumble, moving through a powerful mid-range, which then develops into a rich, strong, and high-frequency acoustic sensation at high revs, perfectly tuned to upshifts, providing a thrilling experience as the higher gears are selected and exhilarating, race-inspired burbles through the downshifts. This sound pattern is achieved with a carefully calculated H-link between the main pipes, which is precisely welded at a selected position. The system has been developed for use on closed-course competition circuits, but there is no compromise on comfort because the tuning of the system eliminates any drone or unwanted flow noise. Power and torque increases have been recorded at +16.6 kW (22.5 hp) and +46.8 Nm at 3,400 rpm when tested in back-to-back runs on the Akrapovič dyno against a Porsche 911 Turbo (992) using the Porsche stock sports exhaust system, with the torque curve offering a perfect response from low down engine speed. The system is not EC/ECE type approved.

With two flawlessly styled and finished handmade carbon-fibre tailpipes, which beautifully complement the titanium pipes, this exhaust is a work of art. It comes complete with a soundtrack that perfectly matches the car’s performance, ideally tuned to produce a unique sound colour and the celebrated Akrapovič signature sound.
