CTS Turbo is proud to release our high flow Turbo Muffler delete for facelift B9.5 Audi A4, A5, A6 and Q5 2.0T (2020-2023).
We collaborated with Sheepey Race to create this original product. CTS Turbo and Sheepey Race created and tested this part and we are both very excited to offer this product to our customers world-wide.
The Turbo Muffler Delete is a one-piece design, made using precision CAD tools; and is CNC machined in house from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum.
Our Turbo Muffler delete replaces the restrictive, power robbing OEM Turbo Muffler, which is designed to reduce turbocharger harmonic noise by introducing air turbulence to the charged air.
Our kit installs in less than 30 minutes with standard hand tools and fits perfectly. Simply remove the right side intercooler hose, undo the 3 bolts and replace the factory part with this shiny billet turbo outlet fitting.

Features:
| BlackBoost Performance Engineering - Racing Coolant Thermostat. With our BlackBoost Racing Coolant Thermostat the coolant circulation with the radiator is always at 100% open. The factory coolant thermostat opens at 100°C / 212°F. Only for racing application, not recommended be used under very cold weather conditions. Applicable for: all M156 / M159 engines | CTS Turbo is pleased to release our high flow turbo outlet pipe kit for GTI/Golf R/Golf/GLI/A3/S3/TT 2015+ MQB Models. The factory turbo outlet pipe is constructed from flimsy plastic and is quite narrow, which results in an extreme airflow restriction. The CTS Turbo high flow turbo outlet pipe kit is constructed from mandrel bent 2.5″ aluminum tubing. The CTS Turbo high flow turbo outlet pipe kit also replaces all the factory charge piping between the turbocharge compressor housing and factory intercooler.
Product Details:
| Boost Cooler water injection can achieve a power increase of up to 10-25% in turbo and supercharged engines without thermally overloading the engine. The charge air temperature is lowered by up to 60°C, the combustion chamber is cooled and the thermal load on already tuned vehicles is effectively reduced.
Water or water/alcohol (methanol or ethanol) is injected at high pressure into the hot charge air in a finely atomised form as soon as the desired starting charge pressure is reached. The evaporating liquid achieves an extremely effective charge air and intercooling, which, among other things, prevents uncontrolled combustion ("knocking"). The effect is demonstrably comparable with 116 octane racing petrol.
The Boost Cooler is unsurpassed in atomisation! The liquid is swirled inside the Hyper-Sonic atomiser nozzle at supersonic speed before being forced through the Venturi orifice. With the included Dual Stage Upgrade, 2 atomiser nozzles are used to inject as early as possible with the primary nozzle and to achieve maximum cooling and performance in peak loads with the switched-on 2nd nozzle.

The VRSF 5″ Performance HD & 6.5″ Competition HD Intercoolers are comprised of an incredibly dense fin pack both internally and externally. It’s not uncommon to see intake temperatures drop at the end of a 3rd gear pull due to the larger overall internal and external surface area. You can expect to see an intake temperature reduction on a stock turbo, full bolt on car during a 3rd gear pull which is why the VRSF HD is THE best option for your N55. Please note that the HD fin pack is now standard at no extra charge! The VRSF 5″ Performance HD is capable of supporting up to 600whp whereas the 6.5″ Competition HD is capable of supporting up to 800whp.Installation & ConstructionWe include everything required to replace the OEM intercooler. All VRSF intercoolers feature tabs that allow the retention of the factory fan shroud and our CFD optimized cast end tanks are designed to work with both the OEM intercooler piping as well as any aftermarket charge pipe that adapts to the OEM FMIC. After each intercooler is pressure tested, we then apply a thermal dispersant coating which ensure a leak free experience along with superior protection against the elements.
