  • The Forge PolarCooler locates in the OEM position and is supplied with anti-corrosion black powder coat on the hand fabricated end tanks and core .
  • A reduction of the temperature of the cooling water is directly equated with an improved cooling performance of the charged air.
  • With an increase in volume of water introduced to the cooling system the thermal temperatures can be kept at a much reduced level over a longer period, ensuring greater performance and efficiency which in turn is perfect for your fast road and track enthusiast. The Forge radiator has a volume of 17 litres compared to the OEM of just 7.71 litres.

With modern day aftermarket ECU tuning pushing powerful engines harder. In certain conditions the vehicle will run the risk of receiving inadequately cooled air affecting the engines efficiency and ultimately losing power.

With this in mind, Forge are proud to release another PolarCooler as the first auxiliary cooling system for the BMW B48 & B58. Following extensive testing on the road and dyno working with 3 different styles of water core with different fin pitch configurations, we are proud to present the ultimate in frontal water cooling solutions.

This product is designed, developed and manufactured entirely in Great Britain and is covered by our worldwide lifetime warranty. We estimate that it will take around 4 hours to complete installation of this product.

The CTS MK6 2.0T Direct Fit FMIC Kit is designed as a drop in replacement for the OEM front mounted intercooler (FMIC).  That means you can install this kit without any trimming or modification of the bumper.  The OEM FMIC is adequate for stock boost levels, however once boost levels are increased by way of ECU upgrades/chipping the OEM FMIC struggles to keep the charged air temperatures in check.  Higher charged air temperatures can result in boost cut and timing pull, both reducing the amount of power your vehicle produces. The CTS direct fit FMIC uses a high efficiency bar and plate intercooler core, which aids in reducing pressure drop.  Reducing pressure drop means that your turbo will not have to work as hard to make a given level of boost.  If your turbo makes 30psi of boost pressure in the turbocharger, and your intercooler has a 10psi pressure drop then the boost measured by your ECU would be (30psi – 10psi) = 20psi.  With an efficient FMIC like the CTS direct fit FMIC your turbo does not have to work as hard to reach desired boost levels.  This is beneficial in two ways, the turbo life expectancy is increased due to more efficient operation, and boost leaving the turbocharger is cooler and more dense resulting in more power to the ground. Boost Cooler water injection can achieve a power increase of up to 10-25% in turbo and supercharged engines without thermally overloading the engine. The charge air temperature is lowered by up to 60°C, the combustion chamber is cooled and the thermal load on already tuned vehicles is effectively reduced. Water or water/alcohol (methanol or ethanol) is injected at high pressure into the hot charge air in a finely atomised form as soon as the desired starting charge pressure is reached. The evaporating liquid achieves an extremely effective charge air and intercooling, which, among other things, prevents uncontrolled combustion ("knocking"). The effect is demonstrably comparable with 116 octane racing petrol. The Boost Cooler is unsurpassed in atomisation! The liquid is swirled inside the Hyper-Sonic atomiser nozzle at supersonic speed before being forced through the Venturi orifice. With the included Dual Stage Upgrade, 2 atomiser nozzles are used to inject as early as possible with the primary nozzle and to achieve maximum cooling and performance in peak loads with the switched-on 2nd nozzle.

Racingline Performance DSG Oil Cooler System for MQB DQ250 (6 Speed Only) - VWR29G7250

Under hard driving, the factory DSG oil/water cooler is easily overwhelmed. Problems start to occur when oil cannot dissipate its collected heat fast enough and the oil begins to thin and degrade – losing its lubrication properties.

  • When this happens, the DSG will protect itself and begin to lower the torque, increase shift times and in extreme circumstances even loose gear selection.
  • The RacingLine kit solves this problem: by adding in an additional air/oil cooler positioned right in the airflow at the front of the car, oil temperatures are reduced by around 15  – 20   degrees centigrade (of course dependant on how the car is being used, ambient temps and state of tune).
  • The kit uses a clever design which retains the factory oil/water cooling and adds to it with the thermostatically-controlled front-mounted cooler – doubling up your cooling capability when it’s needed with less heat transfer into the water system.
  • Only when the oil exceeds normal temperatures, the thermostat opens. Oil temperature then drops significantly as it is pumped through the densely packed fins of the 10-row cooler’s large surface area mounted right in the cool airflow.

Our unique DSG Oil Cooler Kit is an essential fit for any hard-driven MQB 2.0 TSI car running high power levels or in hot climates. It’s a complete ready to install package, using a clever sandwich plate design for straightforward and completely reliable installation.

Transferring more power and torque through the DSG gearbox generates ever more heat to dissipate.  Significantly increased oil temperatures means only one thing: a decrease in the ability for your DSG box to stay properly cooled, eventually causing power drop and gear selection issues.

The Racingline Performance Oil Catch Tank & Oil Management System is the ultimate oil separating catch can system for MQB EA888 Gen3 2.0T engine cars.
Not all catch cans are created equal. The Racingline Performance system has a dual function: as well as routing undesirable oil and moisture vapours through a sophisticated system of internal baffles and a fully baffled catch can, the Racingline Performance Oil Catch Can System also takes our track & motorsport experience of these engines to correct the problem of oil build-up in the top of the engine during high-G braking. The kit includes our Engine Breather Plate – just as the Golf and SEAT TCR EA888 touring cars use to avoid the oil surge issue. So not only does the Racingline Peformance Oil Management System condense these vapours into the bottom of the tank, keeping a purer air/fuel mixture and avoiding the problem of slowly filling intercooler and intake pipework with oil. The Engine Breather Plate included in the kit also protects your engine by helping to eradicate oil starvation in very high G braking – an issue when used on track, leading to several engine failures in Racingline Performance UK’s testing experience.

WHY FIT?

To fit our Oil Management Kit on Golf 7R and Audi S3 models, you will also need this Remote Washer Refill Kit.

  • Golf 7R and some early Audi S3 models have a different windscreen washer bottle fitment to the other MQB cars, with the reservoir located on the right of the vehicle compared to the majority of MQB models which have the washer bottle on the left.
  • For these cars with right-hand reservoirs, this is located where the Catch Can will be mounted. The kit replaces the top half of the factory washer bottle to still allow you to refill your washer fluid easily and neatly.
  • Included is a beautifully high-gloss filler cap which locates conveniently on the front panel using the bracket provided
  • Many owners prefer the appearance of our Remote Washer Refill  and of course this can be fitted without having the RacingLine Oil Management kit installed.
