MERCEDES AMG TTE560 A45 / A45 S / CLA / GLA M139

TTE’s First hybrid turbocharger for the M139 AMG 2.0 Inline 4 cylinder engine.

Stage 1 hybrid using a larger a BorgWarner compressor and still keeping the original exhaust turbine and original ball bearing system so is focused on daily fast boost response with motorsport durability.

Equilibrium

Precisely balancing our turbochargers is a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics also. Subsequent great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving our balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine, then components are assembled and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in-house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial numbered balance test document.

At CTS Turbo we are proud to announce our new throttle pipe for the 8V.2 RS3/8S TTRS 2.5T EVO.  The OEM charge piping leaves something to be desired with inefficient bends not optimized for performance.  The CTS Turbo throttle pipe allows for increased flow and greater performance.  The integrated water methanol bungs allow for simple and straightforward installation of kits from Snow Performance.  All of the components included in the CTS throttle pipe kit work flawlessly together to provide increased efficiency, power and torque throughout the entire power band and an aggressive race inspired sound. This is another original product brought to you by our engineers and in-house fabrication team. The CTS Turbo Muffler delete is a one-piece design, made using precision CAD tools and is CNC machining in house. Our Turbo Muffler delete replaces the restrictive, power robbing OEM Turbo Muffler, which is designed to reduce turbocharger harmonic noise. Our kit installs in 30 minutes with standard hand tools and fits perfectly. For those of you that want optimal power and boost response, this TMD is your answer. Features:

Introducing our TTE700 performance turbocharger based on the original EA855 DAZA turbocharger to new higher output specification for fitment to the older generation cars. Offering an upgrade to over 600PS on pump petrol.

Engineered & Enhanced

At the core of our TTE700 is a much larger TTE compressor wheel, chosen because it is highly efficient and creates an extremely high flow for comparative size. Re-Profiled compressor cover to optimised tolerance to ensure maximum compressor efficiency is given.

We CNC mill the exhaust turbine housing to accept a larger turbine and shaft. Special profile 360 deg high-performance motorsport journal bearing is fitted, to remain durable at higher loads with no loss in transient response. The actuator used is sprung OE unit

If ordering new, we use the latest generation of BorgWarner original turbochargers with the latest spec Audi thermal heat isolation shielding on the exhaust manifold & turbine housing to lower engine bay temperatures and ensure the best performance and safety.

Please note if you send an older generation turbo, without the original AUDI thermal shielding for the "upgrade" process, we will rework your turbo and return without the shielding, unless you buy the extra thermal Isolation process.  Depending on stock availability we may substitute TTE thermal shielding and give AUDI original thermal shielding instead. 

We cannot upgrade the ORIGINAL K16 CEPA, CEPB OR CZGB Turbo to this stage, Biggest possible for the K16 is the TTE500+ Upgrade Turbocharger

THIN-WALL 2.0 TSI TURBO 90 INLET.
The 2.0 TSI Turbo Inlet is an essential addition to your airflow package - ultra-thin-wall, double O-ring flow from intake straight into turbo.
WHAT THE 2.0 TSI TURBO INLET DOES.

A simple fitment, the ultra-thin-wall VWR High-Flow Turbo 90 Inlet is a large diameter, free flowing intake elbow, delicately CNC machined from aluminium billet to replace the small and restrictive plastic factory inlet.

  • The factory inlet forces the airflow to taper right down to pass through a tight and restrictive bend - in other words, terrible for flow. 
  • The RacingLine Turbo 90 is the thinnest-wall construction on the market for highest flow. Twin O-rings ensure the perfect seal. Some of our rivals' less carefully-machined, or even thick cast versions rob valuable airflow.
  • Put simply, without it, you’re wasting much of the potential of your high-flow intake system without fitting the Turbo 90. An essential upgrade!
