CSF is proud to announce the official release of The Ultimate High-Performance Heat Exchanger for the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG. Mercedes’ 4.0L V8 bi-turbo engine utilizes a charge air cooler system – a water circuit (which flows through a pump into the charge coolers) and a heat exchanger (which uses the water to cool the compressed air).
CSF’s All-Aluminum High-Performance Heat Exchanger is larger and cools the water more efficiently than the OEM plastic/aluminum unit thus helping deliver cooler and denser air through the charge air cooling system increasing power capabilities. In its recent testing, Regal Autosport saw significant performance improvements consisting of up to a 68% reduction in IATs (intake air temperatures) and a 400% improvement in heat soak reduction when compared to stock.
As with all of CSF’s high-performance products, the same degree of engineering that has gone into the effectiveness of each product has gone into other aspects of its quality – from its hand-polished mirror finish to extensive testing and perfect “drop-in” fitment that the CSF name prides itself upon.

CSF is proud to announce the official release of The Ultimate High-Performance Heat Exchanger for the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG. Front Mount Heat Exchanger (CSF# 8088) Features:
The CSF High-Performance Heat Exchanger for ’15-’19 Mercedes Benz AMG is now available. | The CTS MK6 2.0T Direct Fit FMIC Kit is designed as a drop in replacement for the OEM front mounted intercooler (FMIC). That means you can install this kit without any trimming or modification of the bumper. The OEM FMIC is adequate for stock boost levels, however once boost levels are increased by way of ECU upgrades/chipping the OEM FMIC struggles to keep the charged air temperatures in check. Higher charged air temperatures can result in boost cut and timing pull, both reducing the amount of power your vehicle produces.
The CTS direct fit FMIC uses a high efficiency bar and plate intercooler core, which aids in reducing pressure drop. Reducing pressure drop means that your turbo will not have to work as hard to make a given level of boost. If your turbo makes 30psi of boost pressure in the turbocharger, and your intercooler has a 10psi pressure drop then the boost measured by your ECU would be (30psi – 10psi) = 20psi. With an efficient FMIC like the CTS direct fit FMIC your turbo does not have to work as hard to reach desired boost levels. This is beneficial in two ways, the turbo life expectancy is increased due to more efficient operation, and boost leaving the turbocharger is cooler and more dense resulting in more power to the ground.

| Boost Cooler water injection can achieve a power increase of up to 10-25% in turbo and supercharged engines without thermally overloading the engine. The charge air temperature is lowered by up to 60°C, the combustion chamber is cooled and the thermal load on already tuned vehicles is effectively reduced.
Water or water/alcohol (methanol or ethanol) is injected at high pressure into the hot charge air in a finely atomised form as soon as the desired starting charge pressure is reached. The evaporating liquid achieves an extremely effective charge air and intercooling, which, among other things, prevents uncontrolled combustion ("knocking"). The effect is demonstrably comparable with 116 octane racing petrol.
The Boost Cooler is unsurpassed in atomisation! The liquid is swirled inside the Hyper-Sonic atomiser nozzle at supersonic speed before being forced through the Venturi orifice. With the included Dual Stage Upgrade, 2 atomiser nozzles are used to inject as early as possible with the primary nozzle and to achieve maximum cooling and performance in peak loads with the switched-on 2nd nozzle.
